AWOL Outreach teams up with Greensboro police and city leaders to deliver Thanksgiving meals

AWOL Outreach partnered with community leaders, organizations, and local businesses to deliver Thanksgiving meals across Guildford County. Thanksgiving, while a joyous time for many, can also be a reminder for some people within our community of the hardships they cannot avoid. With the community’s efforts, we were able to feed 129 families, close to 700 women, men, and children, who, thanks to our partner Jake’s Diner, were able to receive a full coarse Thanksgiving meal.
